When ASO is the right structure.
ASO Administrative is the right fit if…
- You want dedicated specialists, not a call-center model
- You need to remain employer of record (regulatory, contract, or brand reasons)
- You want a single integrated platform for WC + payroll + HR + benefits
- You have an established EIN and history you want to preserve
- You want our WC program pricing without co-employment
- You need help with multi-state compliance and HR risk
Other programs may fit better if…
Co-employment shifts more liability off your balance sheet and is often easier to administer.

Do I stay employer of record under ASO?+
Yes. That's the defining difference from PEO. Your company remains the legal employer — your EIN, your name on the policies, your employment relationship. We provide the platform, the workers' comp placement, payroll processing, HR support, and benefits administration underneath you.
How is ASO different from PEO?+
Under PEO, we become co-employer of record and carry the workers' comp on our master policy. Under ASO, you stay the sole employer of record and we deliver the same infrastructure under an administrative services agreement. Same platform, same specialists — different legal structure. PEO shifts more liability to us; ASO keeps you in control of the employment relationship.
Do I still get our WC program pricing?+
Yes. Your workers' comp is issued in your company's name through our own program (insured by State National, A-rated) — no wholesale or retail markup layered in. You get program pricing and our in-house claims management either way.
Can I switch from ASO to PEO later?+
Yes. Many operators start with ASO and move to PEO as they grow or as their priorities shift toward offloading liability. Because we already run your back office, the transition is straightforward — no re-onboarding from scratch.
Who handles my employee benefits under ASO?+
We do. You get access to the same group medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and HSA/FSA programs as PEO clients, administered by our benefits team — while you remain the employer of record offering them.
