Do I lose control of my employees?+
No. You retain full operational control — hiring, firing, daily supervision, job duties, and schedules. Simplified Personnel becomes the employer of record on paper to handle HR admin, payroll taxes, and workers' comp. You run the business; we carry the liability.
How does co-employment affect workers' comp?+
Under co-employment, your workers are covered under our master workers' comp policy. We've built favorable rates and programs with carriers specifically for the industries we serve — often 20–35% below what you'd get as a standalone employer.
What happens to my current payroll provider?+
We replace them. PEO co-employment includes full-service payroll processing, tax filings, W-2s, garnishments, and direct deposit. One platform, one provider, one bill.
Is there a minimum employee count?+
We work with employers from 10 to 500+ employees. There's no strict minimum — contact us and we'll assess fit based on your industry, payroll size, and workers' comp profile.
How long does onboarding take?+
Most accounts are fully onboarded within 30 days of signed agreement. Workers' comp coverage transfers to our policy at the start of the new policy period or at your next renewal.
